Ola Electric Mobility Ltd, jo India ki famous electric scooter company hai, ab ek aur problem ka samna kar rahi hai. Company ke ek unit, Ola Electric Technologies Pvt, par do key vechicle registration service providers ne insolvency petitions file ki hain. Ye providers hain Rosmerta Digital Services Pvt. Aur Rosmerta Safety Systems, jo Ola ko vehicle registration services aur high security registration plates supply karte hain. Inka kehna hai ki Ola ne unke invoices ka payment nahi kiya hai.
Kya Hai Matter?
Rosmerta Digital Services ne Ola Electric Technologies ke khilaf 220 million rupees ($2.5 million) ke unpaid dues ka claim kiya hai.
Rosmerta Safety Systems ne bhi 25 millions rupees ke payment ki demand ki hai.
Ola Electric Technologies, jo Ola Electric Mobility ki wholly owned subsidiary hai, parent company ka major revenue generate karti hai.
Ola Electric ne stock exchanges ko bataya hai ki Rosmerta Digital Services ne National company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Bengaluru mein insolvency plea file kiya hai. Company ne ye bhi kaha hai ki wo in claims ko strongly dispute karti hai aur legal advice le rahi hai.
Ola ka Naya Plan:
Ola Elecctric ab apne vehicle registration process ko “ in-house” kar rahi hai, jiska matlab hai ki wo ab iska kaam khud sambhalegi. Company ne pichle mahine hi announce kiya tha ki wo apne service providers ke sath contracts ko “renegotiate” kar rahi hai, jisme Rosmerta Digital aur Shimnit India Pvt. Shamil hain.

Ola ki Challenges:
Ye insolvency petitions Ola Electric ki already badhti hui problems mein aur izafa kar rahi hain. Company regulatory scrutiny, customer complaints, aur financial strain ka samna kar rahi hai. Bloomberg News ki ek investigation mein pata chala hai ki Ola ke 4,000 showrooms mein se 95% mein necessary approvals nahi hain, jiske chalte kai states ke transport authorities ne raids kiye hain, outlets band kiye hain, vehicles seize kiye hain, aur company ko notices bhi diye hain.
Iske alawa, Ola Electric apne workforce ko bhi reduce kar rahi hai, aur August 2025 mein IPO launch ke baad se uske shares 65% se zyada gir chuke hain. Investors company ke operational aur regulatory hurdles ko lekar concerned hain.
