Jammu & Kashmir ke former chief Minister Omar Abdullah ne Saturday ko International Monetary Fund (IMF) par zabardast nishana saadha, jab Pakistan ko $1 billion ka fresh loan approve kiya gaya, vo bhi tab jab Bharat Pakistan ke beech tensions apne peak par hain.
Omar ne apne Twitter post mein likha: “I’m not sure how the International community thinks the current tension in the subcontinent will be de escalated when the IMF essentially reimburses Pakistan for all the orenance it is using to devastate Poonch, Rajouri, Uri, Tangdhar & So many other places.”
IMF ka decision – Timing pe sawal
IMF ne Friday ko announce kiya ki usne Pakistan ke Extended Funds Facility (EFF) program ke under economic reforms ka initial review complete kar liya hai, aur iske badle Pakistan ko $1 Billion ka immediate disbursement diya gaya hai. yeh disbursement us waqt aaya jab Pakistan ki military western Indian cities aur military bases par missiles aur weaponised drones se attack kar rahi thi jisme Jammu, Poonch, Uri, Tangdhar, Rajouri jaise regions shamil hain.
India ka strong objection – Terror funding ka risk
India ne bhi IMF ke is step par apni niraasha vyakt ki hai. Friday ko Ministry of Finance ne ek statement mein kaha: “Pakistan ke IMF ke sath poor track record raha hai. 1989 ke baad se 35 saalon mein Pakistan ne 28 saal tak IMF se loan liya hai, but reforms ka implementation bahut hi kamzor hai.”
Finance Minister ne yeh bhi kaha hai ki: “Pakistan military ka interference economic policies mein policy slippages aur reform reversals ka major risk hai. IMF program ka effectiveness bhi is context mein questionable ho jata hai.”
Background – Pahalgam Attack ke baad se bhadka tension
April mein Jammu & Kashmir ke Pahalgam area mein ek terrorist attack hua tha jisme 26 logon ki jaan gayi tha. Iske baad se Bharat aur Pakistan ke beech tension kaafi badh gaya hai. bharat ne Operation sindoor jaise military action liya hai, aur Pakistan ne uska jawab missiles aur drones se dene ki koshish ki, jise Indian defence system ne successfully intercept kiya.
