WWE New Era Begins with Monday Night Raw Debut on January 6
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) will enter a new era when it debuts on January 6 with its much-awaited Monday Night Raw. After entertaining fans for over three decades, WWE is making a major shift from television to the OTT platform for the very first time. The move is aimed at reaching a wider audience and breaking into newer markets.
WWE is set to make its Netflix debut with a grand spectacle, as several legendary figures will be part of the show. The Rock has already confirmed his appearance, and now, legendary Hulk Hogan has reportedly confirmed his participation too. But the most exciting news for fans is John Cena’s farewell tour, adding to the emotional aspect of the event.
The event will take place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, and promises to be an unforgettable night with some high-stakes matches lined up. In the main event, Seth Rollins will face off against CM Punk, while Roman Reigns will take on Solo Sikoa in a one-on-one challenge. Logan Paul will also make his WWE return.
However, Indian fans won’t be able to stream WWE on Netflix just yet. Unlike the US and European audiences, Indian viewers will continue to watch WWE on Sony Sports. Sony Sports Network remains the official broadcasting and streaming partner for WWE in India until March 31, 2025. So, Indian fans will still have to tune in to channels like Sony Liv, Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 3, and more to catch the action.
When Will WWE Be Available on Netflix in India? According to a report in Times Now, while there is no official confirmation from Netflix or WWE, Indian fans are expected to watch WWE on Netflix only after March this year. Until then, WWE will continue to be broadcast and streamed by Sony Sports in India.
